Getting your docs
out of Docusaurus.
Your docs are already Markdown files in your repo, so there’s nothing to export. The work is everything around them: MDX components, the sidebar file, versions, hosting and the build. Clevera reads the files as they are and turns them into help center pages, without installing or running your site.
Nothing to build
Clevera reads your files directly and never runs your site’s code.
Repo or public site
Use the repository, a zip of it, or your live docs address.
Your blog, as a changelog
Blog posts in the repo come over as changelog drafts.
What comes over.
What stays behind: older versions, custom React components (their text stays), pages outside the docs folder, tags, authors, SVG images and plugins like search. Draft and unlisted pages are left out. If your docs are versioned, the docs folder usually holds the next, unreleased version, so untick pages for anything that hasn’t shipped in the preview before you publish.
How it works.
1
Connect Docusaurus.
Paste your repository or public docs address, or upload a zip. Nothing gets installed or built.
2
Check the preview.
See every page before anything moves, and untick what you don’t want.
3
Import.
Pages, images, links and blog posts come over. It’s free and uses no credits.
4
Publish on your domain.
Go live when you’re ready. Old links redirect once your domain points to Clevera.
Keep Docusaurus for your developer docs.
Docusaurus is free, open source and very good at what engineers need: docs reviewed as pull requests, versions that follow your releases, translations through Git or Crowdin, and React components wherever you want them. If developers own your docs, stay. Many teams keep Docusaurus for developer and API docs and move the customer help center, which support and product people write in an editor, to Clevera.
What you get
after the move.
Your Docusaurus pages land in a full help center. Four things you get on day one:
Answers with sources
Ask AI replies to readers from your published pages and lists the pages it used. It uses no credits: 300 answers a month on Free, 1,000 on Starter, 5,000+ on Pro.
See what readers miss
Insights show searches with no result and what readers asked, with Write article next to each gap.
Your own domain
Free sites live at your-site.clevera.help. Use help.yourcompany.com from Starter. No hosting or builds to look after.
A video in every article
Record your screen and Clevera writes the article and makes the how-to video that sits in it. Videos and articles use credits.
